Blue Moon (aka Moonie)'s Story...
Hi! My name is Blue Moon, also known as "Moonie." I know I don't look like a beagle, but my foster mom thinks there is some beagle on my family tree., along with maybe some Golden Retriever and maybe a little bit of something else, a bit of a mystery perhaps, but does it really matter when you are just simply a nice little dog in need of a loving home??? Actually, my foster mom says that I am so incredibly sweet that I am really just a teddy bear in disguise - loveable, huggable, squeezable - you name it! Life before rescue was not so good, but that's all behind me now. I have a new lease on life and am ready for a fresh start with my new family. I assure you, my new family can hug and squeeze me to their heart's content. Please, please, please fill out that application thing and tell my foster mom that you want to meet me and make me part of your family!

Moonie's Foster Mom: Moonie is truly a wonderful and sweet little girl. She gets along great with other dogs, and would probably be okay with cats. Moonie is very mild-mannered and would make a great addition to any family.

Adoptive Status: Will be spayed, UTD on shots and will be micro-chipped prior to adoption.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Moonie just needs a loving environment.

Owner Aptitude Level: Beginner

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue Moon (aka Moonie), a Waldorf Beagle/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Golden Retriever for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
