Sweet Pea's Story...
Sawyer & Sweet Pea are a brother/sister duo who are really great dogs. They're playful, affectionate, obedient, and very handsome. They love to play together and chase each other around the yard. These siblings enjoy going for walks and are doing well with leash training, although some more work is needed in that area. Both love to have their bellies rubbed and are quite fond of pigs ears and Busy Bones®. The two would love to stay together and hope to find someone who could provide a home for both of them.

Adoptive Status: Spayed, neutered, UTD on shots, Heartworm Negative and micro-chipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love them.

Owner Aptitude Level: Beginner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Pea, a Waldorf Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
