Beth, Michelle & Amy's Story...
These pretty baby girls are part of a 7 puppy litter that were picked up recently in our county. So very sad that someone could let a sweet and beautiful litter of puppies out to fend for themselves in our recent heat wave here in Kentucky. They are safe now though and have been wormed and vaccinated, their bellys are still pretty big but that will settle down as they setlte in at the shelter. Beth is the black and white pup and Michelle & Amy are tri-colorerd. They are gorgeous pups with a very sweet, playful personality. There are 5 females and 2 males all together. They have beautiful markings and are probably 6-8 weeks old. These babies don't want to grow up in a shelter but would love a home where they can play and grow. Please help them find a new home! Thanks to the Shelby County No Kill Mission, this pet will be altered, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and micro chipped prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beth, Michelle & Amy, a Shelbyville Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Shelbyville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Shelbyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shelbyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shelbyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shelbyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
