My name is Evie!

Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua Mix Dog for adoption in San Diego, California - Evie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Evie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Evie's Story...
Evie was found running the streets and in very bad shape. She is estimated to be about 1 1/2 to 2 years old, weighs in at 7 pounds and is about the biggest cuddlier you could ever find. She really loves being with her human, walks well on a leash, sits on laps and sleeps on the covers all night without a sound. Will go potty outside if you take her out and stay with her. She has some real abandonment issues, but in the right home she will regain the trust she once had for humans.
Her hair is very coarse, and we feel she may be a Chihuahua/Schnauzer mix.
PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION and send it with any inquiry you have about this great little dog. Applications are found at Chihuahua Rescue Of San Diego web site or you can email dog@rescueAChihuahua.com and one will be sent back to you via email.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Evie, a San Diego Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
