Sloane's Story...
Meet gorgeous Sloane, a rottie mix we pulled from Chicago's Animal Care and Control last weekend. She was an owner give-up who we estimate to be about 1 year old. She may be a big girl, but don't let that fool you - she is 70 pounds of pure, unbridled, canine sweetness and love.

She already knows some basic commands and is a dream on a leash - she is great about checking in with her handler to give them a big smile. She is very food motivated (but takes treats very gently) and makes great eye contact, so we're positive that she'll be a quick study in any training class.

We will update her profile soon and add more pictures, but in the meantime, check out NLOL's
facebook page

for more pictures or contact us today to meet or adopt Sloane!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sloane, a Chicago Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
