Sadie's Info...

Sadie's Story...
Lady and Sadie are sisters! They are about 13 weeks old and up-to-date on shots! Their brother was tested for FeLV/FIV and was negative (he has found his forever home!), so the vet said that, since they are litter mates, the girls are likely negative as well! A precautionary flea treatment and de-worming was given as well. They are very friendly, playful, and sweet cats! Come see them at our upcoming adoption events (see our website for dates/times)! They are very close and we will only adopt them out together. Please contact us with any questions!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Queensbury Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Queensbury, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Queensbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Queensbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Queensbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Queensbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
