Tizzy's Story...
Hi, I'm a 7 month old female JRT pup who needs a new home. My foster mom found me in a parking lot and I was in very bad shape. She has since nursed me back to health. I am very sweet and playful, I like other dogs and kids, and I am leash trained and crate trained. However, I can jump a 5 foot fence so I will need to have a very secure yard. I am very smart, and I learn quickly so with the right owner, I will make an awesome companion. Please email if you are interested in me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tizzy, a Smyrna Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
