Frankie's Story...
Hello. My name is Frankie, and most people that visit the shelter don't even know I exist. That's because I'm a little more shy than my brother Pudge, and it's really scary having to be in the lobby of the shelter where there is a lot of activity. My brother is really nice, though, because he tries really hard to get people to notice us because he's worried about me. I'm really hoping somebody will consider adopting Pudge and I together. I just don't know what I'd do without him. We're both front declawed, and lived with a dog in our previous home. Please consider giving us a chance. Do you have a nice, quiet home where I can finally feel comfortable and show how loving I can be?

This pet comes with a 30-day gift of Sheltercare pet insurance, the number one brand of pet insurance for adopted pets. Over 3 million adopted pets have already been insured!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Oshkosh Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oshkosh, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oshkosh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oshkosh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oshkosh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oshkosh paves the way for another one to be saved.
