My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joe came to us as a horse that was headed to Canada to be slaughtered. We do not normally have horses coming in from these situations but a volunteer stumbled across this group of horses so we decided to step in. That volunteer took the horses home to foster them. They where in much need of handling. Joe is a very stocky horse with a great personality. He is turning more and more into a lovebug everyday. His foster mom says he is improving quickly and is patiently awaiting his new home. Joe does need an experienced handler as he has been handled rough in the past and can get nervous. We have not ridden Joe as we have been working mainly on his ground manners at this time.

Adopters must be 21 or older, if you are under 18, please have a parent contact us as our adoption agreement is a legal agreement which must be made with an adult. We do welcome volunteers of any age, those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
