Lucas's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lucas's Story...
Lucas is a wonderful, handsome, energetic boy with a zest for life! He came to us as a stray who was found wandering the street. He was taken to the local animal control officer who looked for his owner to no avail. We had him neutered and vaccinated so he is all set to go. We are working on his manners using clicker training and he is doing well. He is a very big strong boy who will need consistent training. He is very very friendly and is great with my other dogs. He is very excited about playing and going for walks and he LOVES the water. He will be best suited to a very active family who will spend a lot of time with him. He looks to me like a pure lab with the exception of the small kink in the end of his tail. He has a small white patch on his chest and a couple white toes. Come meet him if you are interested in falling in love with a wonderful pup

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucas, a Hanson Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hanson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hanson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanson paves the way for another one to be saved.
