Wall-E & Rose-E's Story...
Wall-E (Male, Tan with white color) and his sister Rose-E (White with tan color) are 8 month old Walker Hound mixes. These beautiful pups weigh 50 pounds (on August 17). They are very playful and love splashing in their turtle pool. They love people and seem very interested in other dogs at the sanctuary. They are learning commands "down" and "stay" which can be difficult with 2 playful puppies. Both are recent on vaccinations and de-worming. They were spayed/neutered and received their first rabies shot on May 20th. Microchipping is an option (at the actual cost). We have never had them around cats but they may be fine especially with supervision at the beginning. If you can provide a forever loving home for Wall-E and/or Rose-E, the adoption fee is $50 each (pending an application appoval + a home visit.) To apply, please go to our website at uselessanimalfarm.org. Copy and paste the application into an email, fill it out and send it to uafarm@comcast.net .

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a nonprofit organization accepting into its protection any rabbit that has been mistreated or abandoned. The organization does not deny shelter because of disability or illness. All rabbits, after being nursed into optimum health by knowledgeable volunteers and—when necessary—local vets, are spayed and neutered before being placed up for adoption. GRR volunteers screen all adopting families to insure these rabbits will be placed in a secure and loving home.
Gainesville Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is not a shelter; it is solely reliant upon the efforts of its volunteers. The rabbits do not live in kennels, but in the loving homes of foster families who see to it that the rabbits are litter box trained, fed and well cared for, with expenses coming more often than not from their own pockets.
Domestic rabbits are less able to save themselves than other companion animals. Classified as both pets and livestock, they are farmed, experimented on, eaten, worn, made into lucky charms; and some are kept as companions. Unfortunately, like other companion animals, they are also discarded by irresponsible owners. Thousands of rabbits are euthanized at animal shelters each year.
