Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duncan is a very handsome, attentive, well-mannered, friendly, fun, playful and loving, 2-year old, 45-pound, male, black and white Boxer/Labrador-mix looking for a loving guardian. He was found as a stray at a high kill shelter and was rescued just before he was to be euthanized. Poor Duncan had heartworm disease and has since been treated and is now very healthy. He has proven to be a pure gentleman on leash and good with other dogs. His tail is always happily wagging, he knows basic commands and takes treats very gently from your fingers. He has not yet been tested with cats.
Duncan is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-free. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly foster or adopt him, contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. He is currently kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois and would love to have a home to call his own.
