Blue's Story...
Blue was born on 1-7-01 and was purchased at a pet store-Unfortunaely for Blue(named for his one Blue eye) he was left chained to a doghouse for his entire life-His owners cared very little for him, and left a chain around his neck. He was never allowed in the house nor did he ever see a vet. Luckily for Blue-a Pug rescue contacted us about his plight-They assisted in getting Blue's owners to release him-This was not too difficult as they said "Take him before we snap his neck!" This boy is the sweetest thing ever created! Loving and calm, this baby needs some TLC and a family to love-He has been glued to my side ever since he arrived-Great with other dogs and cats, fine with kids, Blue needs a home that knows how a Dally should be loved and cherished. He is just over a year old, heartworm negative, microchipped, neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is housebroken, but a bit afraid to go outside by himself-he is scared he will not be allowed back in the house. If you can show Blue the love and tenderness he so longs for, please contact us about adopting this special boy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Steger Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Steger, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Steger.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Steger already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Steger breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Steger paves the way for another one to be saved.
