Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say Hi! to Baloo Bear, a beautiful purebred English boy turned into the shelter as his owners could no longer look after him. Poor Baloo has some skin issues we've been treating medically, and he's responding well. His skin is clearing up and his coat is coming in shiny and healthy. He is a very mellow boy, who is well behaved and polite.
With his skin issues, Baloo (who whispered to us that he prefers Coco) has been in and out of foster care, but SO enjoys the attention he gets from his foster when the vet hospital allows her to "spring" him.
His foster wants us to know that Baloo is fine with cats as well as dogs, and quickly learned to sleep quietly on his bed next to his foster's bed. He willingly takes pills for his skin condition, using a pill pocket. His improved fur makes him so very handsome! Baloo is not food aggressive, and doesn't seem motivated by food. He attempts to engage other dogs of all sizes in play. He's great with kids. He is such a quick learner that by day #2, his foster let him off leash while walking, and he stayed glued to her side! He hasn't mastered the doggie door yet, but it's on his "to do" list.
