Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Conrad. He's one of those dogs that just breaks your heart. He was found wandering the streets and taken to the local shelter. No one came to claim this great yellow lab, so here he is with Lab Rescuers, looking for a loving home.
Conrad shows signs of a rough life. He is clearly underweight and his coat suggests poor diet. Yet he remains a loving dog, wanting to be friends with everyone. Conrad seems to have an especially keen eye for the girl dogs! Hey, he's two and life just took a serious turn for the better. Conrad will get the care he deserves from Lab Rescuers, but what he wants most of all is a foster home, good grub, and then a forever home that never puts him back out on the streets. Might you be the family that will make a difference in Conrad's life?
Update 8/21/11: Conrad attended an adoption event today and was VERY well behaved. He had lots of stored-up energy to start, but calmed down and took treats and loving nicely. He thrives on the attention that he'd been denied in his prior life, and is especially fond of children.
