About me:
An adult home with other animals would be fine with me!

Do you have a lap with space to share? I am a loving gal who just wants to snuggle and get some time with a caring person. I get along well with other animals and am already good about doing my business outside. I have not had a lot of training, but I am already pretty polite. Training would be fun to build my confidence since I am a timid gal at first. Once I am settled and come out of my shell I am great at playing a game of fetch. If you are a patient and gentle person then please ask the staff for the chance to meet me!

This pet comes with a 30-day gift of Sheltercare pet insurance, the number one brand of pet insurance for adopted pets. Over 3 million adopted pets have already been insured!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ChiChi, a Springfield Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
