Scout's Story...
Meet Scout! Scout was pulled from a high kill shelter just before his time was up. He was severely underweight and heartworm positive on top of that. But, you would never know it today. He is a amazing 75 pound happy, healthy heartworm negative ready for his forever home fella. He has a very easy going and laid back personality. He would be a great indoor pet for someone to just kick back and relax with. He will even talk to you when he wants something. He is very smart and already sits on command. Scout is up to date on vaccines on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. He is crate trained, walks well on leash and is doing awesome on house training not one accident. Scout's adoption fee is $375.00 which includes transport to your area. For more information on Scout email tnrescuelady@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Glastonbury Great Dane/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Pointer for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Great Dane/Pointer dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Pointer breeders who help with Great Dane/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
