Lancelot's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lancelot's Story...
This gorgeous young dude was undoubtedly on a hunt (whether with his master or not) and chased his prey into a drain pipe of sorts and did not judge his size vs the pipe's diameter and ended-up with a huge gash in his back. We have treated his wound similar to a burn so that the healing was from the inside to the outside. While he was being cared for, he resided in the house with the other 11 dogs. Never a problem. Was easily housetrained but his major interest then and now is "PLAY" Since the gash has healed, he has moved his residence to the kennel area. Lance currently weighs 70 pounds. We guesstimate Lance's dob might be Aug 2010. Lance is very strong .... a very soft mouth...he wants to play with everyone but only our Gretta and Lady of Lake consent to chasing around the yard. Lance is becoming more of a gentleman after being with us 4 months....he stands on his hind legs and hugs my neck (I'm 5'2") This loving and loyal young boy will be a great addition to any family with a large fenced yard for running.
If Lancelot looks like he could fill your round table, please send an application to our e-mail address animalsrangels@ymail.com Our application can be found on the home page of our web-site www.animal-angels.org To make an appointment to visit Lance just call 803-627-3049

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lancelot, a York Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in York, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in York paves the way for another one to be saved.
