Dottie's Story...
Let's go Swimmin'!!!!
Hi! My name is Dottie Jack. I am about 2 years old now and weigh 18 pounds. I was living at the pound but my time was up and they wanted to euthanize me. I didn't understand why because I had been a good girl. Someone from STAR came and saved me. I've been with a great foster family since July 5th but I dream about having my very own forever home. I am really smart, and housetrained,. I LOVE kids and other dogs. I like to chase cats so I probably shouldn't go to a home where cats live. If you are interested in being my forever family, call Tammy Ervin with STAR Rescue at (918) 260-5738 or send an email to rescuerangers@cox.net

Dottie is a STAR dog and all of their adoption requirements apply to this adoption. The adoption fee is $85.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Cleveland Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
