Dusty's Story...
Dusty is a very soft spoken boy that could get lost in the background if he was with more than one other kitty.

He LOVES to be petted, LOVES to in your lap and LOVES attention but he is not pushy about it. If one of his foster friends is hogging all the attention he will sit by patiently waiting his turn. He will give you a few soft meows just to make sure you know he's there and ready for some loving.

He gets along with other kitties just fine but he wouldn't mind being an only child either so that he's sure to get his share of the attention. He's playful and curious like most kitties but he just desperately wants to be loved.

He was previously in a home with children and a quieter dog although he's not quite sure about the noisy dog in his foster home. Of course she's a PUG and they make a lot of very strange noises so it's understandable that he's not crazy about her.

If you would like a laid back, quiet and well-mannered boy to snuggle up with, then STOP because you've found him. (Birthday: 4/2008)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dusty, a Palmdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
