Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maggie, a sweet and absolutely gorgeous purebred girl who was saved from a harsh Inland Empire high kill shelter in the nick of time.
This girl is super sweet and friendly. She's a very playful and happy girl - she loves to go for walks and run around in the yard - so her new family will need to have a nice size yard. She's a great sized Labrador at 60 lbs and has beautiful, shiny coat. Maggie knows sit (but doesn't hold it for too long) and is housetrained. She gets along well with other dogs, and is really enjoying the 2 Labs she's staying with now. She is very affectionate and leans on you for attention - she snuggles, will sit on your lap and paw you for more rubbin'. She's really fond of belly rubs, so will roll right over on her back. Kisses, oh yes, Maggie gives lots of kisses. Like most of our young Labs, she will need more obedience training, so a training deposit will be part of her adoption contract.
We don't recommend her for a home with toddlers or tiny kids, because she has trouble keeping all 4 on the floor at times, but is responding well to corrections.
If you're looking for a fun pal to take to parks and on long walks, Maggie is your girl. Like most young and energetic Labs, she does need good daily exercise but then settles down for a nap. She is a really sweet girl with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
