Albert - URGENT !!!'s Story...
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALBERT IS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE MADISON HEIGHTS SHELTER. HIS TIME THERE IS LIMITED. IF YOU CAN FOSTER OR ADOPT, PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW:

This is Albert. He was found as a stray and no one came to claim him. He is about a year old (very white teeth) and weighs about 50 lbs.

Albert is a smart dog. Someone obviously spent time training him. He knows "sit", "shake", "down" and "stay". He likes going for walks but he does pull. We have been using a harness on him lately and that helps alot. He would do best in a home with no small children and no cats. He likes female dogs but is not fond of male dogs. He is affectionate and loving.

If interested, please email suzettegysel@madison-heights.org or slarl@yahoo.com. He will get neutered and will have all of his shots before he leaves the shelter.

ALMOST FREE! Low cost vaccination clinics - check out our website for upcoming dates and times - www.paawarren.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Albert - URGENT !!!, a Warren Akita/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita/Labrador Retriever for sale in Warren, or seeking a Akita/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Akita/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
