Biggie's Story...
Please meet Biggie! This handsome, friendly boy hails to us from Miami Dade Florida. Sadly they have an over abundance of homeless dogs, most of which end up in a high kill shelter. Sadly Biggie was one of those dogs who found himself at that shelter. But thanks to some local animal advocates, Biggie's life was spared when someone offered to take him into her home until she could find a rescue to take him. Biggie is now here in NY with us and doing great! He is loving and playful, social and really likes to play ball. He can be a little strong on the leash but we are working on that. He is a young boy, just a year, so he still has allot of puppy in him. He is good with other dogs and we are testing him with cats. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm neg, micro-chipped and will be neutered. We are now accepting applications for Biggie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biggie, a Rexford Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Rexford, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Rexford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rexford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rexford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rexford paves the way for another one to be saved.
