Stormie's Story...
Hi all, my name is Stormie. You won't have believed me if I told you just a few weeks ago I was so thin that you could count every rib on me and my hip bones stuck right up. With loving care and good food I have gained weight and feel like a new young lady again. Don't ask me why someone would let me get so thin, but I am very grateful that 2 members from GLWR drove in a snow storm to get me from a shelter that had contacted them. And as you guessed, that is how I got my name Stormie.

I am a blue Weim and am about 1-2 yrs. old. I am playful and loving all in one. I have some wonderful qualities and with the care I am receiving from my foster mom I should be able to be adopted someday soon. Thanks a bunch for reading about me and my friends. Love and Wiggles, Stormie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormie, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
