Dobbers's Story...
Visit http://www.sarahstreasuresrescue.net for more information or to fill out an application.

Meet Dobbers! He is approximately 6-7 months old and came to our rescue from another facility. He is an extremely sweet and loving boy, but still has his puppy energy and is working on his commands and house training. Dobbers is has been vet checked, vaccinated, neutered, and is current on his flea/tick/heartworm preventative. He is also microchipped!

Dobbers is looking for a home that has experience and would love to have an active family and a yard to play in. He has been introduced to other dogs of all types and done wonderful with all of them. He is also respectful of the cats and does well with the ones in his foster home. Dobbers has been to a couple public events to us and he is always very well behaved. We feel Dobbers would do well with children too.

If you feel your home would be a good match for Dobbers, please visit our website to fill out an application. An application is the first step to meeting any of our rescue dogs as well as part of the process to become approved. We also require reference checks, interview, and a home visit. More information is available on the website at http://www.sarahstreasuresrescue.net or if you have more questions, please email us at sarahstreasures@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dobbers, a Watertown Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Watertown, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Watertown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Watertown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Watertown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Watertown paves the way for another one to be saved.
