Koda's Story...
Good morning world, I am Koda Bear! Koda for short. I came into Club IEBR due to a divorce and wasn't sure at first. I was a little shy and hesitant but figured out pretty quick this is an ok place to be! I love to give my foster mama kisses! I get along with everyone except Faith, and she just doesn't like me so we don't hang out much. I am seven years old and a hunk, thats what I hear anyway. I do have some alopecia on my sides, I have been getting Melatonin once a day. I am heartworm negative, fixed, had all my shots and chipped. I do have a bed that I will need to bring along with me, if that's ok? It's kinda like my security blanket, oh and I have a stuffed fox, too. I am potty trained and walk right next to my foster mom when we are in the back yard. She says I am perfect, gosh I could have told her that!!! Koda

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Koda, a Decatur English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Decatur, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
