My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snickers (Dutch - 5.5yrs) & Sydney (Califorian Mix - 8yrs) were surrendered to New Moon on 27 Aug 2011.

Because of their ages (especially Sydney) we are hoping to help them find a forever home as soon as possible so that they can live out their golden years together, in happiness! We will also be adopting them at a reduced adoption fee in order to help them find a permanent home quickly.

Snickers is a very independent bunny and is very devoted to Sydney. He does not seem to have been picked up very often as he is very uncomfortable with being handled and would much rather do his own thing. Because of this an experienced rabbit owner would be best for the pair.

Sydney seems to be very loving and quiet. She enjoys pets and does not have a problem being picked up or held.

Snickers and Sydney are looking for a kind and loving home that understands them and they are hoping that the best years are still to come.

UPDATE (21 Februry 2012):

"Syd and Snicks are lovely. As you said, Syd loves being pet, and fawned over. Her favourite thing seems to be when I call out too all the rabbits "bun buns, I'm home!" She immediately pricks up and looks around the room. Snickers is the first one to the door, or front of the cage. He seems to make sure its me, and then relaxes in his bun...ny flop under my chair. Syd then proceeds to search me for a strawberry, banana or raspberry I might have brought for her. Snickers is uninterested in treats, but he seems content that his Syd is pleased."
