About Our Rescue Group...
Humanity for Healthy Animals Foundation (HFHAF) is an animal welfare charitable non-profit organization, Tax ID # 45-0678079. Although we can accept donations, host fund-raising events, and apply for grants, we are waiting for our 501(c) 3 application to be reviewed and approved. The Humanity for Healthy Animals Foundation’s mission is to promote the humane treatment of all animal companions, and to reduce the number of homeless animal companions in the City of Fresno.

Our Services:

1. To promote the health and well-being of the City of Fresno’s animal companions, HFHAF will provide educational assistance to its residents on how to keep their animal companions healthy and safe.

2. To initiate and support various health-focused activities and/or projects.

3. To help reduce the number of homeless animal companions at our overcrowded local shelters, HFHAF will promote foster and volunteer programs that are already in place at local rescue groups. We will seek assistance from reputable low-kill rescue organizations statewide and surrounding states.

4. To help address the dog and cat overpopulation problem in the City of Fresno, HFHAF will partner with local veterinarians to promote subsidized spay and neuter, vaccinations, and micro-chipping.

We exist to help relieve the pressure on our local animal shelters by providing the general public with information and resources to ensure their animal companions are properly cared for.

HFHAF was established to help address the animal welfare issues in the San Joaquin Valley of California. Given that we are a brand new organization, our current resources will be focused primarily on serving the residents of the City of Fresno and their animal companions. Our long-term goal is to extend our services to the surrounding cities in Fresno County and beyond. Therefore, our programs and services will be offered in phases.
