"Hi all you nice people out there! Got to tell you, if you are looking for a sweet and lovable girl, then be sure to stop by my kennel. First of all, let me tell you that my name is Shirley, and I'm just 3 years old and I am in need of a new forever home. I have lots and lots of love to give. I am three different colors; black, grey and white too (and what a great combination that is!) Oh by the way, I love kids, adults and oh yes, I also like dogs. I walk really nicely on the leash and absolutely love tummy rubs (they are the greatest)! I'm on the small side, so I think I would fit nicely into your home and could easily become a part of your family. I'd like to have a nice yard to run around in a little bit, and would like to snuggle into a nice little bed at night in the house, so that I can be close to you... my "new furever family". Don't forget...please be sure you ask to meet me when you come to the shelter. I'm in kennel 58, which is in the 3rd row of kennels. All you have to do is ask one of the shelter staff to take me out into one of our great exercise yards here, and then we can become better acquainted. I am a really a nice little girl, who would very much love to become your best friend and pal. Come on by to meet me soon...you won't be disappointed...I promise! Love, Shirley".
