for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Swirl's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Swirl's Story...
SURPRISINGLY SHE IS STILL HERE. SHE IS ONE OF A KIND THAT LOVES PEOPLE. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE ADOPTED ADULT DOGS AND ONLY THE PUPPIES WE WILL NEVER KNOW BUT SHE'D LIKE TO FIND OUT IF THERES SOMEONE WITH A SOFT SPOT AND WILLING TO GIVE HER THE LOVE SHE DESERVES. Swirl is a bundle of joy, eager to meet everyone who crosses her path. She has proven herself to be most resilient considering her owner was a convicted felon who used her for breeding. She was brought into ACC in February with her 6 puppies.

Swirl is a big girl with a big personality. She LOVES fetch and is perfecting her ball-catching skills with help from her human friends. Her friendly open mouthed smile is contagious and her presence is often requested with volunteer groups. Swirl is looking for a home of her now. She would love to play ball in the backyard, go on long walks and lounge around the house.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Swirl, a Burr Ridge American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Burr Ridge, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Burr Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burr Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burr Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burr Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
