Ginger's Story...
Meet the island babies! Hi, my name is Ginger. My six brothers and sisters and I were born in beautiful east Tennessee. We set out on a three hour tour that lasted a little longer than expected. My mommy is a pretty medium- sized mixed breed dog. She looks like a labrador, spaniel mixed lady. Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am a thinker and I'm always trying to figure out what my next move will be. Whether it's to go to the food bowl or pounce on my brothers or sisters, I know that I'm gonna enjoy myself. I love people and sometimes I wimper when they leave my side, but I can find something to do until they come back. I like it here on this island, but I need something more permanent. Please help me find a forever home.(POM-Rhia)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Spring Valley Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
