Brianna's Story...
Brianna is such a sweet beautiful girl. She was pulled from a shelter as a puppy last Spring with her siblings and managed to be one of only 2, along with her brother Cory, that survived illness. She is happy healthy and strong now and is waiting for someone to make her part of their family. Brianna is shy at first but when she warms up she is very sweet. We think she would be better in a home without young children. As mentioned, she is on the shy side when you first meet her. The hectic activity of young kids can scare her some, but otherwise she is a fantastic family companion. We are really guessing on her breed since there are likely several, but the combination made for a really pretty girl. She is doing quite well walking on a leash and is content in her crate. Brianna is on the small side of medium and weighs in at about 35 pounds. She has a beautiful soft silky coat and can be a real goof ball when she is in a playful mood. She is living in a great foster home in the northeast with 3 other dogs and loves being around them. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brianna, a Naugatuck Australian Kelpie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Naugatuck, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Naugatuck.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naugatuck already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naugatuck breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naugatuck paves the way for another one to be saved.
