Bud's Story...
Bud - Bud is a sweet, outgoing good natured guy who was abandoned by his previous owner. He gets along well with the other cats in our adoption room but he also loves human attention. He would do best in a home with maybe one or two other cats, and people who can give him lots of love!

If you would like to meet Bud, please stop by our cat adoptions room at BowDog (6909 Farrell Rd SE - Open Mon to Fri: 7am-7pm, Sat: 10am-4pm, Sun:12pm-6pm) or fill out an adoption application online at http://www.poundrescue.com/adoptions/adoption-process

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bud, a Okotoks Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
