Emery's Story...
Emery is definitely a lover, not a fighter. While he is a kitten he
loves to play, but cuddling and telling you a bedtime story is the best
part of this little guy's day. His grey coat can sometimes look blue and
his eyes are always bright. He is starting to get used to dogs and
older cats and has no problems telling them to back off if he is not
ready. This little guy is just waiting to find his forever home who
will listen to his stories and take comfort in his content purring when
being petted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emery, a Okotoks Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
