My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johnny is one of our long-term fosters. He was found under a shed at 5 weeks old with no mama in sight. When CATS took him in, he was anemic, dehydrated, and covered with fleas. Johnny's a tough li'l fella and bounced back quickly, so he's in great health now. Johnny's a big boy (about 14 pounds!). He needs brushing a couple of times a week to avoid "dreadlocks." He's good at letting you brush him, as long as you're careful if you find a tangled spot. He loves to pounce on feathers, milk caps, fuzzy toys, and just about anything else! He also loves to jump into his foster mom's lap to give her hugs and kisses (really, he gives hugs!), and sleeps with her at night. He plays too rough for small children, and he's never met a dog. He'd be good with other cats who are as spunky as he is, or as an only kitty. He might work out with a dog. He has a very quiet meow, so you won't have to worry about neighbors complaining! If you're looking for a big, goofy, gorgeous longhair, Johnny Goldeneyes is your guy. He comes with a starter kitty playset and a colorful "kitty fishing" toy - brand new, never used.

You can meet him at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on the weekends from 11am - 5pm. Adoption fee reduced to $60 for the month of September.
