I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Corduroy is one of a litter of five puppies. Not many details to offer except that their mother died and we have to assume that since the puppies are at Animatch; this was not a planned litter. Again, people without foresight are responsible for bringing more puppies into a world where there are not enough homes. Corduroy and littermates, Cotton (m), Tweed (m), Satin (f), and Velvet (f) will all be sterilized before going to their furever homes. They will not be responsible for any homeless puppies…. it just has to stop! We were told that Corduroy’s parents were a Lab-X and some type of Spaniel. These are two active breeds; no doubt they will require lots of exercise in their adolescence and adulthood. Puppy classes and basic obedience training should definitely be in Corduroy’s future in order for him to be a good canine citizen. It is essential that Corduroy and his littermates are in a home where they are not alone all day. The puppies should experience exposure to people and everyday sights and sounds. They need supervision, socialization, and frequent potty breaks. They are full of puppy exuberance and wet kisses. If you want to help a puppy grow up to be a good dog, please consider adopting Corduroy or one of his littermates. The first step would be to fill in the Adoption Form. (NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE.)
Pet overpopulation isn’t the end
of the world, unless you’re
a puppy or a kitten.
