Betty's Story...
Hi I am Betty. I am very pretty. My foster Mom keeps making fun of me because of my ears. I don't think that is very nice of her but she says my ears are very big and if a big wind comes by I just might fly. I am approximately a year and a half. I am spayed and up to date on my shots. Please, please consider me as your forever pup. My fee has been reduced to $200.

To find out more information about this pup please email us at heathershouseofhounds@gmail.com. We will provide information about our process/paperwork and you can request an application there as well. Thank you and we look forward to helping you find your new fur-ever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty, a Portland Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
