My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ANOTHER sweet dog lost to the economy....Rusty was tied to a pole when a young boy came upon him after school. Rusty was thankful when the 8 year old boy untied him and took him home. The single mom wanted so badly to keep the dog for her son; but the apartment they lived in did not allow dogs.

So Rusty came to stay with us while we find him a wonderful home. He is a character--loves to chase the water coming out of the hose and the sprinklers on a hot summer day. He is the happiest, most positive dog, always just having a ball with whatever comes his way. He loves children but we always recommend older children when we adopt a happy young teenage rescue dog! Rusty has great great house manners.

This guy is just a character--always making his foster mom laugh---he will roll on his back and kick his legs in the air and just talk to himself. He is fantastic with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, gets along with everyone.
