My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tara…our amazing and adorable year-old Chi mix, who had a rough beginning in life. Poor Tara was dumped in a local high-kill shelter, but not for long. Friends With Four Paws came to her rescue and turned her bleak fate around. Remarkably, after all that she has been through, Tara is still a sweet little girl. She is completely crate-trained and we’re pretty sure she is house-broken. Tara is a very friendly and submissive girl who gives the sweetest little Chi kisses. So, if you’re looking for a wonderful little lady to love, spoil and adore, Tara is the one for you!
Our adoption fees are based on the age of the dog and range from $375 to $500. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, 30 days of pet insurance, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

**PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN YOUR INQUIRY** We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them. Please do not submit an inquiry if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate considation, attached applications to the initial inquiry expedites the process.

All of our dogs are rescued from the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter, which is a high volume, high kill facility. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where it is kept for a minimum of 2 weeks for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. After the 2 week quarantine time they are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. They are then placed on the website. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested in it, we make arrangements with the waiting foster to pick the animal up from the airport to then meet with the potential adopter. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
