Dora Mae was abandoned on a country road to fend for herself. She was picked up by one of our rescuers, and is staying at her farm with several other dogs who have been similarly abandoned, and are awaiting permanent homes.
She’s only about two years old, and is a beautiful young dog. She is fawn colored and has a sweet face with a white streak on her nose. She is about the size of a small Lab, and is probably a hound / lab mix. She loves to run and play, but is so loving that she’ll run and plop right down in your lap if you sit down on the ground.
Dora has been spayed, is up to date on shots, and is on heartworm prevention. She gets along great with the other dogs at the farm, but deserves a family of her very own and maybe another dog for company.

OOTW helps people who help animals. We primarily assist folks who take in stray or abandoned animals and offer them assistance with discounted veterinarian services and assist with placement in adoptive homes. We promote the spaying and neutering of all pets. For more information, go to our website, www.ootwrescue.org
We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.
We ask that an adopton application be filled out and returned to help us make the best match possible for the rescued pet and for the adoptive home.
Our adoption fee is $150.00 We do add transportation costs which are paid by the adoptive home varying from $150.00-$200.00.

We are committed to find wonderful adoptive homes for our rescues, no matter where they are. We have excellent transportation options and will adopt to homes
