My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frosty is so very glad to be part of a family after spending her 2.5 years making puppies. She is on the smaller side – about 50-55 pounds.

Frosty wants to tell you how well she is doing and how much she now loves life:

“I love scratches and snuggling with my foster mom. I go running to her, wagging my tail, when she tells me how beautiful I am, which I am. I am discovery new things every day. Even eating grass seems like a delicacy. And I now love now to be in the middle of pack happenings.

My gentle disposition makes me so agreeable and easy-going. But I can get frisky and love to see my fellow puppy mill arrivals.

Dog parks are sure fun – lots of sniffing and meeting other dogs. And talk about sniffing, the best is a walk on our property – so much to sniff. And now I walk off-leash, but wearing a bear bell, which makes me proud to wear. It works – no bears so far! And I am trying to understand the big deal about tennis balls that my foster siblings play with. It will come to me, as I pick them up now quizzically trying to understand their magic. But I have just discovered that stuffed animals are a hoot.

My foster parents tell me that I am exceptionally socialized for a puppy mill lady. I am just still trying to get this house training thing down. That one is tough, but I am improving. So I will need a forever home who is patient with me, and who will teach me better leash-walking and then tricks when I am ready.
