This adorable senior longhair tweenie doxie was dumped outside a local shelter the day after Hurricane Irene. He's a sweet older guy who is obviously very confused by his abandonment and hoping to find a home that will appreciate him. Any doxie lover knows doxies are like potato chips- you can't have just one! Please submit an application if you would like to add our Potato Chip to your family. UPDATE: Potato Chip had a much needed dental and had a lot of rotted teeth extracted- he feels so much better and is eating great now! His bloodwork did show some kidney disease so he will need to be on a prescription kidney diet to help him, and is looking for a home that will make sure he gets proper vet care and enjoys whatever time he has left. He is a very cheerful spunky friendly little guy, fine with other dogs. He is well-mannered and housebroken, and loves a soft fuzzy bed to sleep in.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
