Zelda's Story...
Est DOB 5/4/09, DSH Black/white spayed female. Zelda came to her foster home with 5 other kittens & out of those, only Zelda & Ursa remain. They have matured into very wonderful, very well behaved young cats. Zelda enjoys lounging on the screened porch, sitting at the top of a step stool swatting at the wind chimes, chasing what few lizards are left, & playing tag with the little kittens. Her black/white markings are very unique and each of her 4 legs has both black & white, but none of her legs has the same color pattern. She's very affectionate with everyone she meets ! All cats and kittens have been vet checked, tested for feline leukmia and FIV, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/netuered and are free of internal and external parasites. Contact for adoption info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda, a Cocoa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cocoa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cocoa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cocoa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cocoa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cocoa paves the way for another one to be saved.
