Logan's Story...
Est DOB 9/11/08, DSH Dk. Orange/white tabby tuxedo, neutered male. Logan did his best to get trapped one night at the AT&T warehouse near the County's North Animal Shelter. He thoroughly enjoyed the 5 bowls of wet food that night before his foster mom finally just picked him up and put him in the truck for a ride home. He's very vocal and starving for attention. Someone threw him away & left him to fend for himself ... unfortunately he tangled with a FIV+ cat and now tests positive for FIV himself. However, he's very healthy now and as long as he's an only cat and kept indoors, he should remain healthy for a very long time. Please consider giving him a chance and a forever home :) All cats and kittens have been vet checked, tested for feline leukmia and FIV, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/netuered and are free of internal and external parasites. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Logan, a Cocoa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cocoa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cocoa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cocoa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cocoa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cocoa paves the way for another one to be saved.
