Chubbers's Story...
Meet Chubbers - Chubbers was born May 19th, 2011 and was part of a small litter of 3 pups. His mother is a very petite boxer and we think his father is a Terrier-Miniature Pinscher cross. These pups look nothing like their mother and very little like who we think is the father. Chubbers will be a long-bodied, short to the ground dog - similar to a daschund. He has been around children since birth. His short little legs do not slow him down one bit. He can race around the backyard like he is a thoroughbred. He was given his first set of 5-way puppy shots on July 29, 2011. If you are interested in adopting either Itty Bitty or Chubbers, please contact their foster mom, Shiloh at 208-431-4792 or Foster Location: Burley, Idaho
There is a $40 adoption fee plus a $50 neuter deposit to be refunded once proof of neuter has been received.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chubbers, a Rupert Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer for sale in Rupert, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Rupert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rupert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rupert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rupert paves the way for another one to be saved.
