Dexter von Lancaster's Story...
Dexter von Lancaster is an adorable 8-month-old plush coated sable shepherd mix who bonds so quickly you’d think he had super glue in his DNA. Dexter loves to be around his person or family and engage in play with his humans. He walks nicely on leash and stays close by your side at whatever pace you’re going. Dexter was in a home with a cat and did just fine. He’s curious of his surroundings and likes to explore. Dexter would probably do great in a condo or apartment… even one where a feline or two reside. He’s a wonderful guy ready and able to give his new family the lifetime of love that every dog wants to give. Stop by and meet Dexter and you’ll never want to let him go!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter von Lancaster, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
