Lola's Story...
Lola (female)
Hi, my name is Lola. I am 3 years old. I was rescued as a kitten along with three other cats who are a pretty rowdy bunch. I need a quiet home - roommates are fine as long as they are friendly. My shots are up to date and I am spayed. I have a very sweet nature and like to cuddle. If you need a fuzzy friend to shower with attention, please call Jacob at 318-617-3891. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30.00 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Haughton Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
