My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Buck! I am a 2yr old, male, Labrador. I was given up by my family after their new baby arrived on September 1st. They just didn’t have the time or the money to properly care for me anymore. I am about 75lbs so I need a family that can give a lot of love to a big boy like me. I don’t mind other dogs or cats and I really like kids. I am super playful and sweet. I love toys, kongs and tennis balls, but my true love is the hose! I love water! I could play “chase the hose” for hours if you let me. I didn’t get basic training like sit and stay with my previous owners, but I am learning very fast. If you want a big boy with a ton of love to give, come down and visit with me!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at info@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: info@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
