Alfie's Story...
"If you are looking for one, sweet and very precious Chihuahua fellow, who loves to sit on laps, then look no further than my kennel - kennel #57. My name is Alfie, and I am only 5 years old and have the greatest brown and white markings. I am a small fellow, so you know what that means...I would not take up much room at all in the house, and I have short hair, which means I am an easy-care kind of guy. I love to go for walks, and really like sitting close to people. I would be best in a home with older children. My dog walker says I have the most precious and handsome little face, and I think she is right. I am a very gentle dog, who is looking for a new forever home, and lots of love because I too have lots of love to give. Stop by to meet me soon, and I know you won't be disappointed, and we just might become best "furever" pals. Small, gentle, very loving....that's me - Alfie. Let's get acquainted now...I'll be waiting. Love, Alfie".

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfie, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
