Cal's Information:

It will take a person as special as Cal to understand and appreciate him. He is a senior, enjoys his alone time- but will greet you when you return home! He likes to be told he is a "good boy" and petted a few times throughout the day/he does not want to play or cuddle. He is very smart and very aware of his surroundings. I feel Cal would do best in a home without small children because he is not very tolerant. He will make you aware if he dislikes something - including hugging him. Cal demands to get to know you before he will let you get close to him - I have had him about a month and he just started letting me give him a quick hug. You ABSOLUTELY must speak to him before you touch him. He becomes upset if startled (another reason he would not be good with kids). Cal likes to be outside - he trots at the dog park/very cute! He just loves to go to the park! He does not have a favorite toy; have offered him toys - he has no interest in them. He, of course, loves treats! I want him to be happy and he deserves that. .. He’s a very special boy.
